Darkhorse I finished the season early only because I struggle opening bookies accounts or should I say keeping them open. If we win a decent amount in the early months I’m quite happy to call it a day and come back in April with the majority of accounts intact. I can still win enough to pay for a few free holidays and the donkey’s I have shares in, also so far I’ve bought new golf clubs, top of the range tablet and mobile phone and still have a couple of k left for whatever, that’ll do me enjoy it while you can. It was different when I did this for a living I would bet all year and the target was 25k that was the wages anything over we spent mostly on holidays mainly cruises and we’ve been on a lot. In the early days we had to bet at the bookies but it was time consuming so when you could bet online it appeared to be a dream come true (sat on a beach in the Caribbean putting your bets on, done that), but little did we realise it was the beginning of the end but luckily I’m at an age where I only need to do it for pleasure. There is a limit to how many people you can get to open accounts or place bets for you and I’m down to the dregs.
You’re not the first person to mention losing selections winning next time out so there must be something in it, or it may be just phases we go through, I’ve never checked it out.
Not one for altering stakes though I’ve often been asked why I don’t up stakes during a bad run because the system always recovers. Well it always recovers until it doesn’t.
Bad runs are miserable enough without making them worse we just never know how long they’ll last, no crystal ball here to look into the future.
We have a small band of loyal regular users and as long as we do I’ll keep posting, numbers have dropped but that was probably my fault for saying I wasn’t backing selections and not explaining the reason was the bookies accounts only having a limited life not a loss in confidence.

Good luck Ian with whatever you do.
