To those that are interested as it wasn’t popular with everyone even though it was profitable
We should be back in action this Saturday, I’ve given the thread its own category because the last time, I posted them after receiving them all, but we receive them one at a time with usually plenty of time to place a bet before getting the next one and so I will post them as they come in which will take up a lot of space
I will not post any prices only horse venue and time, if you are backing them they are all E/W unless it says differently, just look for best price on Oddschecker or Best Betting. I will be putting my bets on in the offices as I don’t want to damage my already fragile bookies online accounts and I would advise you do the same.
At the moment we are only receiving a third of the bets he’s having and because we’re following a big punter in we will be betting to smaller margins but should still be ok.
All being well we should have an uninterrupted run of Saturdays for at least a couple of months and we get our first taste of a big meeting a week Wednesday 9th May at Chester.
Start small and build up everyone has losing runs.
I know we’ve had a problem with alert emails and they are crucial for this but the problem should be solved now if not let me know.
For those that it doesn’t work first try going to forum open Systems and Ratings category, click on the little glasses pic to the left on any of my posts incognitogambler, then click follow, see if that helps.
Christine according to the forum admin you are not following me unless you are Lady I.
Another problem can be Gmail and Yahoo Mail now thread email conversations by default and instead of simply displaying all the received messages in chronological order.
They drop mail into previous mail from same sender.
Stop the Email Threading Madness
Turning Threading Off
Open Gmail on Desktop
Click the gear icon at the top right.
Click Settings
General tab.
Click turn off Conversation View
Click the Save Changes button.
NOTE: The instructions above only apply to the desktop version of Gmail. If you’re using the Gmail app on an Android or iOS device, there’s currently no option to turn off threading. However, you can add your Gmail account to the default email apps on your Android and iOS mobile devices, which may give you the option to turn off threading depending on the device and the version of the software. For example, Apple Mail on iOS 10 has an option to turn threading on and off and the email client I have on my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Android 6) only has unthreaded messages. Here’s a screenshot from my Galaxy S5 https://techforluddites.com/email-turn-off-conversation-view-gmail-yahoo-outlook-ios/, with the same email conversation showing in the Inbox for the Gmail app on the left and for the Gmail account added to the built-in email app on the right.
I have Android device and use SolMail its simple to add gmail accounts and turn off Conversation View.
I use Google Chrome browser on PC with the Checker Plus for Gmail extension it gives me on screen alerts when an email comes in.
