Just a quick note - I am recording all prices at SP for consistency reasons. I am also running a seperate log to track the system performance at BSP. I have not deducted the 2% commission from these figures so bare that in mind. We are employing compound % staking betting 1% of the overall bank each time. Stakes are recalulated only after the bank sees new profit at the end of the day. They do not reduce after losses.
So our all weather campaign didn't get off to the start we wanted with just 4 winners in 24 bets or a pretty terrible 16% strike rate...
Our first winner came on day 3 and gave us our first profitable day with 3.5 points but not enough for overall profit and an increase in stakes. Two winners on day 5 and another on day 6 gained us another 2 points of profit before dropping a point on Sunday ending the week with an overall 1.3 point loss. Not the start I wanted but let's look at the positives. The average price for our winning selections was 5.68 so in theory just one more winner would have put us 4 points in profit. Plus we had 3 profitable days out of 7 which isn't bad. We do need to urgently look at improving the strike rate though as 16% will simply not cut it.
For comparison at BSP prices our bank saw profit of 1.16 points and an increase in stakes at the end of day 5. More profits at the end of day 6 saw another increase in stakes to 1.03 points and an overall profit of 1.75 points at the end of the week.
Here's hoping week 2 will be better.
Thanks,
