No Irish racing today
No National Hunt cards
On a Bank Holiday weekend
No surprise today's schedule
Has ended up with small fields
Normally happens on this day
This Sunday gets marginalised
Thats why we have 4 previews
Sending this early
Get a head start for bank holiday
Hopefully a bumper message
Today the game is to back off
Some interesting puzzles today

The message makes it sound
Like this horse may be a banker
He really isn't
He's knocking on a bit aged 7
He has 27 days off the track
He has a difficult draw as well
But there are several negatives
A non runner has helped too
I nearly went win bet/place saver
Crown Princess was that saver
But going each way instead
He has 10 runs over course/distance
His Racing Post Ratings were these
64 49 78 90 88 82 80 82 74 86
He has a handicap mark of 68
That looks extremely generous
Look at his 3 worst performances
Over this course and distance
His 74 rating came with 178 days off
His 49 rating came when he was unfit
Having raced just once in many months
His 64 rating - badly draw slipped on bend
On his remaining 7 races here
The R.Post rating figure he produced
At least 10lbs higher than todays mark

£50 Win
I do think this is a better e/w bet
And would suggest you do that
But not bothered about my bets
Happy to have a win bet instead
Yesterday's Summary
Managed the 1st and last winners
But not enough to cushion the rest
Also managed a couple of places
Even that was still not good enough
Too many middle message failures
Did not think we had a lot of luck
No Trouble a saver finished second
Looks like we were done by a "Job"
The stablemate of my main selection
Just smelt fancied and ready to win
Looking back at prices with hindsight
And the negatives 4 year olds in that
Not impossible to include the winner
Think that was the lost opportunity
But did not see it amongst the chaos
Great Ambassador finished in third
Looks like this was a staking mistake
Could have selected him each way
Finest Sound 6/1 beaten by a neck
Ran great but did too much to early
Running out of energy at the death
THAT'S JUST DANDY the big one
Unplaced not helped by a low draw
Was not the defining reason he lost
But that clearly compromised him
Joseph won it with a darker horse
Lethal handicap and it beat us up
So overall it was a disappointment
Not so much with the staked bet
Have to retain some realism there
But two races elsewhere on the day
Went to stablemates of our horses
My staking was also not impressive
